Look forward to a relaxing and stress-free
winter vacation in South Tyrol. The Hotel Tannhof in Vals is
located only 50 meters from the ski lift "Tasa"! There
is a direct connection to the skiing area Jochtal. For the little
ones, the "Bambino Club" in Vals offers ski kindergarten
and large snow park area - one of South Tyrol's most beautiful
parks. This is one of the many reasons, the Jochtal
skiing area is considered one of the 5 best children's skiing
areas in Italy. While the children are well taken care
of, parents will have the time to explore the area and ski down
the more demanding slopes or visit idyllic après ski
huts.

The skiing area Gitschberg is located
in the neighboring Meransen (app. 10 km). Next to a
360 degree panorama platform, the skiing area offers well structured
slopes. For your winter fun, the ski area features ski runs
suited for top skiers and beginners alike.
The Kronplatz
by Bruneck, South Tyrol's most modern skiing area, offers even
more skiing fun on over 100 kilometers of excellently prepared
slopes. Other Dolomiti SuperSki areas, such as the
Hochpustertal, Gröden or the Seiser alp, are located only
one to one and a half hour drive away. |

For all who would like more peace
and quiet in winter, but still would like to be active in sports,
cross country skiing is the perfect alternative. You
will remember the wintry impressions of snow covered nature
for a long time, just like your body will enjoy the positive
impact of cross country skiing. No other sport boosts stamina,
strengthens body and circulation in such an encompassing way,
but is still gentle, especially in the healthy mountain climate.
The easy circular cross-country track in Vals is about 8 km
long and ideally suited for beginners and families.
The
weekly torch lit hikes are another memorable experience
(weather permitting), snow shoe hikes, toboggan rides, romantic
horse drawn sleighs or disco fever at an elevation of 2000 m,
when the "Dance of the Vampires" takes place - you
don't have to be a skiing expert to enjoy a vacation at the
Hotel Tannhof. |
